The two sides scored 30+ points in the first quarter to start the battle. The Kings made 11 of 22 in the first quarter, including 4 of 9 three-pointers. Sabonis Jr. scored 9+3+2 and Westbrook had 0 points and 4 assists. The Timberwolves shot 13 of 19, close to 70% of the shots, including 5 of 7 three-pointers.
