August 28, Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas reported that Savignho is expected to continue to play for Manchester City after the transfer window is closed.

Despite the interest from Tottenham, the winger is now basically sure to stay at the Etihad Stadium. If Manchester City can find a top replacement, they may consider a new negotiation with Tottenham.

There was some interest in Rodrigo, but the player seemed to stay at the Bernabeu.
