Dortmund defender Bensebaini beat all stars and won Algeria s Player of the Year award

Hupu, November 12th: The Algerian football media platform "LaGazette du Fennec" recently awarded the "Fennec d'Or (Golden Fox Award)" for the first time. Dortmund defender Ramy Bensebaini was named Algeria's Player of the Year at the awards ceremony in Paris.

The jury spoke highly of Bensebaini’s technique, strength, elegance and stability in the reasons for awarding the award. In this selection, the Dortmund player beat many compatriot stars, including Wolfsburg forward Mohamed Amine Amoura, Jeddah Nacional's Mahrez, Marseille forward Amine Gouiri and Manchester City defender Ait Nouri.

Bensebaini joined Dortmund from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2023. This season he has represented the team in 14 appearances in the Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist.
