US reporter: Some teams are unwilling to trade with the Lakers, fearing a recurrence of the Harrison incident

On November 12, US reporter Donnie Freeman talked about the impact of the Doncic trade in the podcast "BasketballBulletinPodcast".

"Sources say that some teams are unwilling to negotiate a deal with the Lakers because they are worried that things like Harrison (suffering a loss in the transaction) will happen again. However, this situation is completely avoidable as long as the superstar is not traded." Donnie Freeman said.

In February of this year, Nico Harrison sent Luka Doncic, Kleber and Markieff Morris to the Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis, the Lakers' 2029 first-round pick and Max Christie. The Mavericks are currently ranked 14th in the Western Conference with a record of 3 wins and 8 losses, and Harrison has been fired.
