June 13, The Houston Chronicle Rockets reporter Lerner reported that Shepard will represent the Rockets in the Summer League for the second consecutive year. Summer League is an opportunity for coaches to work with their staff and peers in the league, and Rockets coach Uduka has not yet determined which assistant coach he will send to coach the Rockets to the Las Vegas Summer League team, but Garrett Jackson may be the coach's choice for the second consecutive year.
