Stein: Mavericks open to trading Davis, but not interested in moving Irving
Hupu News on November 21 According to well-known reporter Marc Stein, the Mavericks are open to trading Anthony Davis, but have no intention of sending Kyrie Irving away. League sources revealed that in the next more than two months, the Mavericks will still consider any trading plan for Davis, but whether the actual deal can be reached will entirely depend on the quality of the offer. It is worth noting that since joining the Mavericks, Davis has been troubled by serious adductor and calf injuries and has only played in 14 of 48 regular season games. In contrast, sources pointed out that the Mavericks do not encourage other teams to inquire about Irving's trade. Irving's return date has not yet been determined after undergoing knee surgery at the end of March, but he has cooperated well with Cooper Flagg, a rookie that the team is focusing on developing, in training, and the management hopes to keep him in the team.
