Redick: Doncic is at his best and if we play at a high level he will be in the MVP discussion

On October 15th, in the preseason Lakers VS Suns, Doncic made his first appearance of the season. Before the game, head coach Redick was interviewed and mentioned that Doncic ranked second in MVP in the general manager's prediction.

"People are full of expectations for his prospects in the new season. I am very excited to coach the best version of him and let him perform at his best every day," Redick said. "This is my job. I have talked with him about this from the first day of cooperation, but obviously he is in the best condition now, with a clear mind and a renewed physical condition. His motivation comes from winning. If we can play at a high level, then he will be in the discussion for MVP."
