O Neal: I didn t inform him in advance when I was traded by the Lakers. I went to greet the manager but was stopped

August 28th, O'Neal recently participated in the "StrightGame" podcast and talked about his experience of being traded to the Heat by the Lakers.

He said: "I was eating cereals and then I learned that I was being traded. I was looking at ESPN and listening to what people were saying, and then they mentioned, 'Kupchek (Lakes General Manager) said he would consider the offer about Shaq'. So, I asked my agent to call them and they said they really wanted to trade me."

"I got in my police car and went there, but they didn't let me in because I was going to beat Kupchek. I said I was just going to get my stuff, but I promise you that I was going to beat Mickey Kupchek."

"I understand this is business, but please give me a little respect."
