Mavericks executive: Trading top players can cause pain, but the goal is to be the first in the playoffs
According to NBA Retweet, a Mavericks executive who asked not to be named recently said that although trading a top player will bring losses, the team is still full of confidence in the future. The executive said: "Whenever you trade a real great player, it's painful. We love Anthony Davis (AD) so much and feel that our current roster can build a strong team for the future. With the improvement of health this year, we believe we will be at the forefront of the playoffs and strive to be at the top of the East or West by the end of the regular season. That's our goal."
