Ivey: Without the encouragement of the whole team when I was injured, I don’t know where I would have gone
In the NBA regular season on November 23, the Pistons defeated the Bucks 129-116. After the game, Ivey was interviewed. When asked about the encouragement he received from the Pistons during his absence, Ivey said: "When I was going through difficulties, without the encouragement of others, I really don't know where I would have gone." Last season, Ivey suffered a fractured fibula in his left leg and underwent surgery; he also underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee before the start of this season. In this game, Ivey made his comeback and made his first appearance of the season. In 15 minutes, he made 4 of 6 shots, 1 of 3 three-pointers, 1 of 2 free throws, and scored 10 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 steal.
