Ary: The Celtics will not actively promote the deal for Simmons Jr. unless the offer is completely reasonable

As trade inquiries continue to come, sources told me that the Celtics are expected to consider listening to Anfini Simmons’ deal, but they are also happy to keep him on the roster.

"They will listen, but they won't push unless the deal is completely reasonable," said a source close to Simmons.

24-25 season, Simmons Jr. played 70 games for the Trail Blazers, averaging 19.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game, and a three-point shooting percentage of 36.3%.

His salary for the new season is $27.7 million, which will be the last year of his contract.
