Newcastle officially warns Isaac to block transfer Liverpool goal, unable to participate in Premier League opening game
Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac has a disagreement with the club over his willingness to transfer to Liverpool and has received a clear warning from the club. Coach Eddie Howe confirmed that the Swedish international will miss the team's Premier League opening game. It is reported that Newcastle United executives have informed Isaac that if he does not receive a transfer offer that satisfies the club in the next few weeks, he must return to the team to participate in training. Isaac had previously missed the entire preseason due to a thigh injury and is currently training alone according to coach Hao's requirements. Howe explained the move was to avoid the negative impact of Isaac's situation on other members of the locker room. Several media reported that Newcastle has notified Isaac that he will not be sold this summer. This is deeply frustrating that Isaac, who is eager to transfer to Liverpool at a record price. However, the Chronicle Evening News revealed that the club did not completely close the transfer door, but it has clearly required Isaac to maintain a professional attitude before receiving a satisfactory offer. Newcastle had previously rejected a £110 million offer from Liverpool and insisted on priced at £150 million for Isaac. Whether Liverpool will raise its offer to meet Newcastle requirements is unknown. If it fails to receive a significantly improved offer, Newcastle will not release the striker from the contract to 2028 this summer. This means that the "Magpies" occupies a good position in the transfer negotiations and there is no pressure to sell it. coach Hao publicly stated that Isaac still has a way to return to the team and is optimistic about the striker's return to the training ground. However, the player himself allegedly "has no intention to play for Newcastle again". Isaac is confirmed to miss the Premier League debut of Newcastle against Aston Villa this Saturday. Coincidentally, Newcastle's second round of the new season is playing against Liverpool at home.
