J League Official: Schmidt serves as global football consultant, aiming to promote advanced football philosophy

Hupu October 1st, Japan's J League officially announced that German coach Roger Schmidt would be hired as a global football consultant.

In order to improve the league level, the J League officially started the "Overseas Coach Recruitment Project" and chose Schmidt as the first football consultant. The J League hopes to use his years of coaching experience accumulated in European powerful clubs to conduct on-site guidance for youth training echelons, special seminars for coaches (head coaches, assistant coaches) and sports directors, and share their professional knowledge with J League and various J League clubs to promote the concepts and training methods of world-class football.

Schmidt's employment period is 9 months, and the specific work content is as follows:

(1) J League Youth Training Elite Team Guidance and Methodological Sharing

is responsible for guiding the J League Elite Team Selection Team and promoting its football philosophy and training methods to domestic coaches and clubs.

(2) Special courses for coaches and sports directors

are implemented for coaches of J League clubs to help them master world-class football philosophy.

(3) Competition inspection and feedback on the league and clubs

By inspecting the J League and various competitions, professional feedback will be provided to the league and clubs.

October: The 1st Coach and Sports Director Special Course

November: The European Training Guidance Project of the U-18J League Selection Team (Technical Consultant)

December: The 3rd Coach and Sports Director Special Course

March: The 3rd Coach and Sports Director Special Course (World Cup Topic)
