Haaland has no fantasy about how poor Manchester City performed

Ellin Haaland warned his Manchester City teammates that they can’t make excuses to defend their disappointing season.

While Manchester City can still finish the season mathematically with second place, it is undeniable that they are far below expectations. Guardiola's side was 18 points behind champion Liverpool, and the downturn since late October led to them winning just one victory in 13 games in various events.

Manchester City was eliminated in the fourth round of the League Cup, performed poorly in the Champions League, and eventually failed to automatically advance to the knockout stage, and was eventually eliminated by Real Madrid. However, they may end with the FA Cup glory.

Many pointed out that Manchester City's struggle with serious injuries was the reason for their struggle. Ballon d'Organiser Rodri fell in September with an ACL injury at the end of the season, with several centre-backs plagued by health problems throughout the season, and Haaland himself missed for more than a month with an ankle injury, but the Norwegian international firmly believes that Manchester City can't hide behind their injury record.

"We are not stable enough this season, we are not winning enough games, it's that simple," he continued. “We have to be better in big games. We haven’t won enough games in a row yet. “Of course, we have injuries all season.” But we shouldn't make excuses. We are not good enough, and we are not at our best, so when you are not at our best, you are not going to win the game in this country because it is too difficult.
