Arn Slott s admission: Liverpool is about to let Darwin Nunes go, so what about Alexander Isak?

Liverpool seemed to have a short breath to send Darwin Nunes to Riyadh to win. However, manager Arn Slott has not yet given a definite answer to the question of Alexander Isaac coming to Anfield as a replacement for the Uruguayan striker.

Liverpool have actually strengthened the offensive line by recruiting Hugo Ekitic. However, Isaac remains the main goal.

Newcastle directly rejected the preliminary offer for Liverpool, and it is not clear whether Liverpool will make a higher offer in the summer transfer window.

At a press conference before the Community Shield, Arn Slott revealed some inside story, saying Nunes will leave Liverpool soon and refused to discuss Isaac.

"As usual, we don't talk about players that are not our own," Tau told the Mirror.

"We are satisfied with the current roster. Some players have left and some have arrived. Darwin may leave, but there is no official signature yet. Let's wait a few more days."

Arn Slot also prepared a backup plan for the forward line to deal with Mohamed Salah's absence in the African Cup for Egypt. One of the options is to get Jeremy Flynnon on the field, the new right-back will also be competent for the wing position.
