AFC officially announced that Indian team Mohenbagan failed to arrive at the competition venue in time, it was considered to have withdrawn from the AFC 2 event.

The team was originally scheduled to set off for Iran on September 27 local time to prepare for the September 30 game. But before departure, six foreign players in Mohenbagan informed the club that they refused to go to Iran to play away for personal safety reasons.
