Wade talks about being compared with Harden: If I don t care about winning the ring I can get more data

July 27 NBA celebrity Wade talked about his historical status battle with Harden on his podcast "Time Out".

Wade: "There will be a lot of arguments, 'Oh, he's stronger because he scores more.''He's stronger because I like his style of play more.''He's stronger because he has more rings.''These discussions never come to fruition. It's like we live in a hotel that is up to 30 floors, and each floor has keys. When I look at the game, I look at who has the keys to the 30th floor. The key to the 30th floor is victory, I can't get to the 30th floor. Russell is there, Jordan There, I might be on the 25th floor, but I'm not on the 30th floor. That doesn't mean anything to me, it just means I don't have a path to that floor. So if you don't win the ring, it doesn't mean you're not as good as someone who has the ring. You just don't have the authority to go into those ring floors. Winning the ring is totally different from being a great player, playing the stats, etc. That kind of sacrifice - if I don't care about winning the ring, I can get more data. So that's a different topic."
