Spurs CEO son! Nuggets hire Chase Buford as assistant coach
August 16th According to HoopsHype reporter Michael Scotto, sources revealed that the Nuggets will hire Chase Buford as the team's assistant coach. Chase Buford is the son of RC Buford, CEO and senior general manager of the Spurs. He was appointed as the head coach of the Bucks G League team Wisconsin Deer Group in 2021, and then coached the Sydney Kings of the Australian NBL League. Last season, he worked as an analyst at the University of Kansas, and he played for the school for three seasons as a scholarship player.
