Seth: I can not only shoot 3-pointers & both mid-range and dribble-back attacks are good. I am sometimes underestimated
Warriors new player Seth Curry accepted an interview with the media. Xiaoba compiled some of the interview content as follows: Reporter: I would like to ask, what kind of experience this offseason was for you? How would you describe the pressure? And now that I finally came here, this is unprecedented. Seth: I have never seen this in my career. It is a team that probably knew what lineup they would have, but it would take several months to officially announce it. This feels strange. But now we are finally here and ready to start. Reporter: I know that you have played a career path of your own in the NBA. But what I want to ask is, have you talked about when you were a child? Will it be a dream to be able to play on the same team one day? Seth: I thought about it, but to be honest, I think Steph (brother Curry) may want this situation more than I do. As I said before, I want to go my own way more in my career and don’t have to play on the same team as Steph for a long time. But we are still very excited to play together here now. Reporter: Obviously, everyone knows your three-point shooting ability. But in your opinion, what other parts of your game have been underestimated? Seth: I feel like a comprehensive offensive player. If you look at my data, I shoot well in three-pointers, but I can also score at mid-range and do some offense after dribbling, instead of just driving me out of the three-point line. These are things I have been polishing through my career, allowing me to have an impact in different situations. As for the defensive end, I always stand in the right position and fight. For example, when I was working with Terry (Stotts) in Portland, he allowed me to play on many important occasions, even key playoff moments. So there are a lot of underrated parts of my game that people may not have noticed, especially when I played for Charlotte over the last few years. But these things will gradually show up and become good examples.
