Mavericks CEO: 40 years ago, the Knicks won the No. 1 pick and chose Ewing, which made me involved in conspiracy theory

May 13th NBA lottery ceremony was held today, and the lottery result was a big upset, and the Mavericks won the No. 1 pick.

In an interview, Mavericks CEO Rick Welts said: "I am the only one who was in this room 40 years ago and now. 40 years ago, the Knicks won the No. 1 pick, and I was in charge of the NBA draft lottery. 40 years ago (1985), the NBA first used the draw to determine the draft pick, and the probability of seven teams winning the No. 1 pick was 14.3%. And in the months before the draft, there was news that Ewing would go to the Knicks.
