George: Anthony made sacrifices at the Thunder Donovan didn t make tactics for him

August 20th News Recently, George talked about working with Anthony on a podcast program at the Thunder, and he said that Donovan did not formulate tactics for Anthony.

"Merro made sacrifices, and the problem was not with Mero," George said. "Billy (Donovan) originally had a tactical plan for Westbrook and me, but at the last moment we got Cameron. So Billy said 'I don't know how to integrate him into it. You two are the core of my plan. Mero has to find a way to integrate into it myself."

In the 17-18 season, Anthony played 78 games in the Thunder, averaging 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, and a shooting percentage of 40.4/35.7/76.7%.
