August 7 News Recently, when he was a podcast, former Lakers player Samaki Walker talked about Doncic's previous remarks that "scoring in the NBA is easier than Europe."

Samaki Walker said: "Listen, man, Doncic is a basketball genius. He is special and a unique player.

"We know, you know, real basketball players know, real fans know, basketball is a sport that includes two aspects, both offense and defense.

"I like Luca offense, but I feel that over the past few years, he has disrespected the NBA because I pay attention to him. He went back to Europe and said how soft the NBA is, but he has no defense."

Samaki Walker said he doubted Doncic's willingness to be a good defender, although Doncic is polishing his body shape now.

"That's what I think. But that's it, I still want to see if he can shape his body and whether he is willing to play defense, because you can shape his body well, but you still need to play defense. So is he willing to accept that?"
