Domineering, after the Timberwolves eliminated the Warriors, they are not satisfied with entering the Western Conference Finals again, they are eager for more

The Timberwolves entered the Western Conference Finals historically, but they "have no appetite."

Minnesota Timberwolves rewrite the team's history and entered the Western Conference Finals for the first time in history for two consecutive seasons. But don't expect any celebration of this team that is eager to win.

"No satisfaction," Anthony Edwards told reporters after the Timberwolves defeated the Warriors 121-110.

Edwards made a bold promise last year and fulfilled his promise. When asked what prompted them to return to the Western Conference Finals, his answer hit the hearts of the heart: "We lost last year."

Minnesota is not just happy to be here. Their ambitions go far beyond that.

"It feels good to get to this point, but my stomach is not full at all," Rudy Gobert said. “We said we were going back to what we were last year… Now we are halfway through and we won’t be relaxing anymore.”

Gobert’s dominance in Game 5 stems from pure enjoyment: “Once I get on the field, I enjoy every moment,” he explained. "When you go to the game with pure joy, the game will naturally come naturally."

Edwards knows the difference between a champion and a competitor at this stage of the season, after losing to the Dallas Mavericks last year, he is ready to take the next step to enter the NBA Finals.

"The most united and mature team is a team that can win at this time," Edwards said, emphasizing that their focus is on themselves. "The key is ourselves, not the opponent we face." Gobert's post-match commentary revealed his unique focus: "I'm only focused on winning the championship. That's the only thing I care about." The Timberwolves' victory in the early stages of the series gave them crucial rest and preparation time. Edwards hopes that these extra experiences will help them advance to the next round.

Jaden McDaniels also agreed with the team's confidence: "We played very freely," he said of their decisive victory. "We're ready, no matter who we're against next."

Mike Conley attributes the team's confidence to Edwards' leadership.

"I believed in him last year. He worked hard on it all season. He led us to this day," Conley said. “It all started with him, and his confidence in himself and his teammates.”

For a team that has never reached the NBA Finals, this is just another step towards its final goal.
