Tottenham official: South Korea will face League Cup champion Newcastle this summer

On May 27, Tottenham Hotspur officially announced that South Korea will play against Newcastle this summer.

Official announcement is as follows: "We are very pleased to confirm that our men's first team will play against Newcastle United in South Korea this summer as part of the 2025 CoupangPlay Series. Last week we announced that we will visit South Korea during the Asian Preseason Tour, which will be our third time in the CoupangPlay Series."

"It has been confirmed that the league cup champion Newcastle United will make its debut in this event organized and promoted by Coupang and Pitch International. Details such as match dates, locations and tickets will be announced separately."
