Romano: Martin is willing to join Manchester United
According to multiple media reports, Manchester United plans to sign Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Villa to replace Onana's position. Transfer news author Romano reported that Manchester United received positive feedback after initial contact with the players, and Martinez was ready to say "YES" to Manchester United. Martin just renewed his contract with Villa until 2029 last year. It is reported that Villa hopes to receive a transfer fee of 45 million euros from the Argentine goalkeeper. If the signing is successful, Martin will become the ninth Argentine to play for Manchester United after Peron, Heinze, Tevez, Di Maria, Rojo, Sergio Romero, Garnacho and Lisandro Martinez.
