Richard Torre Jr. challenged Moses Itoma: "I have 100% confidence."

Liverpool, England - Richard Torrez jr. went to the UK last week to participate in the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool, England, and then he made boxing in the UK a priority.

"I mean, when Jared (Anderson) was against the big guy (Martin) Bakor, people were talking about this," Torres said. "If I were Itama, I would go to fight Usic any day. If I were a heavyweight boxer, I had to believe that I was the best in the world and no one could beat me. So I understand why he would accept this fight and others would. It depends on the management over there. I think as a boxer, we are like bulldogs with leashes. We just say, 'Let's go to the war', it depends on (our management) deciding what we are going to do next and who we are going to fight. But if I were him, I would also play this game."

Torrez beat Guido Vianelo in April to his biggest win in his career and now he hopes to hit the championship.

"I wish I was close, man," he said. I'm in the top 10 in the world among several different sanction agencies and I want guys. I really want it. I'm not for the belt, but for the competition.
