Taurant's younger brother, Leverkusen midfielder Granit Zaka, attended the farewell ceremony. Granit Zaka said at his brother's farewell ceremony: "One Zaka is leaving, but the other will be back soon." Granit Zaka was born in Basel youth training. His contract with Leverkusen expired in 2028. He has played in 49 games this season, scoring 2 goals and assists 7 times.
