Reporter exclusive: Colombia U17 captain, midfielder Orozco will join Manchester United next year

Hupu September 25th, famous Colombian reporter Pipe Sierra exclusively reported that Christian Orosco (17 years old) agreed in principle to join Manchester United and become the team's new player.

Manchester United's signing team has reached a preliminary agreement with the youngster's current club - Fortaleza CEIF Football Club in Colombia's top league.

Orosco mainly plays as a defensive midfielder and has not yet made his career debut, but has performed well in the youth training stage of the Colombia national team.

The rising star is the captain of Colombia's U17 team and led the team to the U17 South American Championship final last spring.

He will join Manchester United after turning 18 in July next year.

He will be another of many young players Manchester United scouts have unearthed in recent seasons.

Earlier this year, defender Diego Leon poached from Paraguay club Cerro Porto for a transfer fee of £3 million.

The Paraguay U20 international participated in Manchester United's pre-season tour and has been selected for the adult team's match day lineup twice this season.
