"Mr. Billionaire" Muderick is charged with taking stimulants and faces a four-year ban

Chelsea winger Mihailo Muderick was accused by the English Football Association (FA) of violating anti-doping rules for failing drug tests and may face a ban of up to four years.

The 24-year-old Ukrainian international was temporarily suspended by the FA in December last year due to "adverse reactions in routine urine test results."

According to FIFA regulations, players who deliberately take banned drugs can be banned for up to four years.

At the time, Muderick said he was "completely shocked" and "never intentionally used any banned drugs."

Since November 28, 2024, he has never played for Chelsea again, and since December 1, he has not been on the roster for any competition. Muderick is also unable to train with Chelsea, and the club is supporting him and taking care of his mental health.

Last month, he watched the final of the European Football Association League (hereinafter referred to as "European League" or "European Cup") held by Chelsea in Poland as a private person, and did not participate with the team.

The FA said in a statement on June 18: "We can confirm that Mihailo Muderick has been charged with violating anti-doping rules, alleged to exist and/or use of banned substances, which violates Articles 3 and 4 of the FA Anti-Doping Ordinance."

"We cannot comment further as the case is still under trial."

Chelsea has not commented yet, but last year 12 Month said they would work hard to find out the reasons for the failure of urine test, adding: "Mihailo has clearly confirmed that he has never deliberately used any banned substances."

"Blue Army" coach Enzo Maresca said at the time: "We support Mihailo, and trust means we believe in Mihailo."

According to the FA, if the urine test A test result is negative, the player has the right to request an analysis of sample B. If the B sample analysis results prove to be negative, a lawsuit will be filed.

Players can choose to accept the test results and their corresponding consequences, or they can ask...the matter will enter the hearing process.

Chelsea signed Muderick from Donetsk Miners in January 2023, with a transfer fee of up to 100 million euros (about 89 million pounds at the time), and his contract with Chelsea will last until June 2031.

Mudric represented the "Blue Army" in 73 games and scored only 10 goals.
