Director Flamengo: Hope Jorginho joins before the Club World Cup

May 2: Flamengo Club Director Botto said in an interview with the media that he hopes Jorginho can join Flamengo before the Club World Cup.

Jorginho's contract with Arsenal expires on June 30. According to media reports, the 33-year-old midfielder will leave the team freely. Flamengo intends to sign him out of the lineup and has submitted a quotation.

Flamengo director Botto said: "If Jorginho joins the team, it will be after the end of the European season. I hope he can catch up with the Club World Cup." On the morning of June 17, Flamengo will play against Tunisia Hope in the first round of the Club World Cup group stage.
